In general, this is true of some more than others, but few people are more specialized in their skills than are AASIS users. Some of us have detailed knowledge about financial reporting, for instance, but have (and need) no familiarity at all with materials management. Similar observations apply for all AASIS modules and their users—our individual responsibilities serve to focus our attention (and interest) on different functional areas. That’s why we developed the AASIS Liaison List.
Each state agency has designated certain individuals as AASIS Liaisons, the first-line recipients for all AASIS Support Center announcements related to their designated functional area or areas: Materials Management (MM), Financial (FI), Human Resources (HR), Technical, Security, or Training. After receiving an announcement, each AASIS Liaison follows internal procedures for further distribution to targeted employees who can best benefit from the information.
Please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the AASIS Liaison List. The AASIS Liaisons are your best bet for up-to-date information about AASIS enhancements, issues, outages, and other AASIS-related matters.
If you see an incorrect listing, please let us know.
