3 year old Landen Trammell was found about 2:35 p.m. today by a U.S. Forest Service team within the grid mapping system that was coordinated for the search.
He was taken by ambulance to Stone County Medical Center to be evaluated and appears to be in good condition. He was covered in mud and therefore was kind of camouflaged, Senator Irvin said, adding that he was found near a pond.
The U.S. Forest Service team that found him were from the Big Piney district and the team leader is Bradley Taylor.
The family thanks all the organizations, agencies and volunteers who took part in the massive search effort.
