LITTLE ROCK - Senators Missy Irvin and Jason Rapert will co-host the Arkansas Human Trafficking Summit here on Tuesday, June 26 and Wednesday, June 27.
Other co-hosts include Representatives David Meeks and Greg Leding, Catholic Charities and organizations dedicated to eliminating human trafficking, such as Not For Sale Arkansas, Truckers Against Trafficking, Rush Hour Traffic, Path, Safe Places, Shared Hope and Polaris Project. First Baptist Church of Little Rock will host events that don't take place at the state Capitol.
The summit begins with a welcome and introduction at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Old Supreme Court room of the state Capitol. At 1 p.m. Tuesday the Senate Committee on Children and Youth will meet in Room 151 of the Capitol.

From 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday will be a short film, followed by a panel discussion and public forum, at First Baptist Church of Little Rock, at 62 Pleasant Valley Drive.
From 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday there will be a coalition building workshop at First Baptist.
