| Drum Majors Leadership Conference |
January 17-19, 2008 |
Designed to encourage adult leadership development, the Drum Majors Program recruits nontraditional role models, including women and minorities, to initiate and participate in community service projects and local speakers bureaus. Drum Majors promote nonviolence, human equality and community service while serving as role models and facilitators for youth. The 2008 Leadership Conference will be held at the
Peabody Hotel in Little Rock, Arkansas on January 17-19, 2008.

- Individual Achievement Award
- Business Award
- Non-profit Organization Award
- Youth Achievement Award
- Drum Major Award
- Josetta Wilkins Courage Award

Birthday Bash |

| The Birthday Bash is a celebration of Dr. King's 78 th birthday that will be held at a selected Arkansas elementary school that had the greatest decrease in disciplinary action for the 2007-2008 school year. The birthday bash will include a program with speakers and student tributes to Dr. King. |
King Team - Community Service Day |

| This day is designed to encourage all Arkansans to perform community service projects in their neighborhoods and communities. King Teams will work within their various communities to complete community service activities. |
