ATTENTION MINE OPERATORS
A primary emphasis of the Arkansas Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) program is to provide training opportunities for all mine operators. While we strive to provide all requested training, rising costs and limited funds to support this program are making it difficult to continue training services at the current level.

Therefore, the agency will begin charging a fee of $10 per person for Annual Refresher and New Miner classes effective October 1, 2007.

We appreciate your cooperation and support of the Arkansas MSHA program. Contact Susan Weaver at (501) 682-4520, or email susan.g.weaver@arkansas.gov to schedule your training.
