Governor's Office of Community and Faith - Based Initiatives Arkansas

The Governor’s Division of Volunteerism (DOV), a vital part of the Arkansas Department of Health and Human Services, was established to support the growth and development of volunteerism throughout the State. Working in partnership with community-initiative centers and faith-based organizations, its mission is advocacy, recognition, communication, technical assistance, and training.

Public service isn’t limited to elected office; it’s community leadership, it’s aiding victims of disaster, it’s treating others with respect. It’s helping to build a society where those in power help those who are in need and where no one has to live in fear.
