Employment Opportunities

There are countless employment opportunities available in Arkansas for mature adults (age 50+). As the Baby Boom generation retires, employers are going to encounter a large workforce shortage. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, up to 43 percent of the current workforce will be eligible to retire in the next 10 years, and 61 percent of entrants (ages 16 to 25) to the workforce are not fully qualified.

Multiple employment websites exist that can connect you to employers. To help you get started, we've listed two free sites: Arkansas Job Link, the state's employment matching site, and Arkansas State Jobs, the site that lists all state job openings.
