The certificate is a credential developed by ACT WorkKeys® and signed by the governor that confirms to employers that an individual possesses basic workplace skills in Reading for Information , Applied Mathematics , and Locating Information – skills that all jobs require.
The Career Readiness Certificate is recognized nationwide and was implemented in Arkansas by the Governor's Workforce Cabinet to improve workforce and economic development. Employers are encouraged to recognize job seekers who have achieved a CRC by successfully completing the WorkKeys® assessments.
The program is free and meets EEOC requirements!
