Local Office Arkansas Claims

Self-Service makes it easy!

LOARC (Local Office Arkansas Claims) is the self-service application that allows anyone to file an initial or additional claim for Arkansas Unemployment Insurance themselves by visiting their nearest Department of Workforce Services local office.

If you are working less than full-time, or have completely separated from your last job, you may file your Arkansas Unemployment Insurance claim using the LOARC system. Simply report to your DWS Local Office and asked to use the self-service center to file your claim.

For the best (and quickest!) results, please have the following information ready when you access the LOARC site:

  • Your name & mailing address
  • Your Social Security Number
  • The name & address of your last employer
  • The last day you worked & the reason you are no longer working

Completing your LOARC claim will take approximately 30 minutes. Be sure to ask a staff member to print a copy of the confirmation page for your records once you have successfully submit your application.
