DIS adjusts rates for fiscal years 2011 and 2012

DIS operates within the State of Arkansas to provide information technology services to state agencies and other approved governmental entities. State and federal laws and guidelines require DIS to operate as a cost recovery agency, billing for the services provided to its customers.

DIS monitors over and under recoveries for its services on a periodic basis during the fiscal year. An over or under recovery occurs when the amount of cost to provide a service does not match the amount of revenue received for the service. As a result, DIS has determined that rate adjustments are necessary for state and federal compliance for FY2011 and FY2012.

The required rate adjustments will include decreases, increases, and rates for new services. We expect that these rate adjustments will have a positive overall impact for the majority of our customers.

Fiscal Year 2011 rates will be adjusted retroactive to July 1, 2010, and the rates for Fiscal Year 2012 will be effective July 1, 2011. Rates may be viewed under the Product and Services tab. If you have any questions about the rate adjustments, please contact DIS Billing at dis.billing.inquiries@arkansas.gov or 501.682.4010, or you may contact your Customer Account Representative or send an e-mail to dis.customer.service@arkansas.gov.
