Effective February 2, 2009,
the TEA/Work Pays policy section 10100 is revised to allow former TEA
recipients to be approved for Work Pays provided they are working and meet all
Work Pays Eligibility requirements. It removes the requirement that a former TEA
recipient’s case must have closed due to employment in order for the individual
to be considered for the Work Pays Program.
The phrase “with employment” is being removed from item # 4 in
section 10100 to accommodate this change.
This
change is effective for Work Pays applications taken on or after February 2, 2009.
