Division of Developmental Disabilities Services

The DDS Quality Assurance Section has the responsibility oversight of quality improvement efforts for the Division to include monitoring of the DDS community programs and services for compliance with state and federal regulations and DDS Licensure and Certification Standards. 

DDS Quality Assurance Unit 

The primary role of the Quality Assurance Unit is to conduct monitoring activities of services to children ages birth to five to assure compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), and to administer the National Core Indicators project in Arkansas to determine quality of services to individuals on the ACS Waiver program.  The primary objective is to analyze the data collected in order to determine patterns and trends in services in order to improve service delivery system.
