PAM/PES System for PA’s
In fall of 2008, providers will be able to use the Provider Electronic Solutions (PES) through EDS to request Prior Authorizations for Waiver Services. DDS will use Prior Authorization Manipulation (PAM) to approve the requests. Below is a PowerPoint presentation on this process.

A recent change to the DHS system allow for outgoing email containing sensitive information to be encrypted. Now DDS does not use WinZip to encrypt outgoing email nor does DDS maintain a password for email recipients. The document below is a guide for opening email from DDS.
