Course Description:

This course is designed to familiarize individuals of the Early Intervention Program and allow opportunity to obtain information relative to serving children with developmental delays in Arkansas. Person(s) whom may refer a child to the program may include, but are not limited to professional from health care, service delivery, day care, families, etc.

Participants will gain knowledge of the Early Intervention program, services and referral information.

Service Coordination Block Training

Course Description:

 This course is set up in a block setting, which is four (4) days broken into two (2) parts. It is designed to train individuals in the complete process of Service Coordination responsibilities and completion of Federally Mandated components. Participant(s) will gain knowledge in the purpose, technique, implementation and documentation involving Service Coordination. Additionally, participant(s) will experience hands-on training on completion of Federal & State mandated forms.

All courses required for Service Coordination are included in these blocks
 

Credit Hours: 28 

Attendees: 

Testing Requirements: Participants must obtain scores of the following: Evaluation/Eligibility – 14/20; Prior Authorization - 7/10; Service Coordination & IFSP – 21/30; Surrogate Parent – 7/10 and Transition – 7/10 questions correct to complete course.
