This program is the Arkansas component of a national network that provides telephone access to the America's Job Bank 24-hours a day, seven days a week.  By accessing the system on a touch-tone telephone, the caller can set up a personal job search profile and search for job listings for their preferred job types in any specific area of the U.S.

Employment opportunities with the Arkansas Department of Human Services can be explored by visiting www.arkansas.gov/dhhs/oas/jobs.  You can also find information there about how to apply for a job on line. If you do not have Internet access, you can pick up a DHS employment application at any DHS County Office or any Employment Security Department Office. The DHS Employment Office is located at 7th and Main Streets in Little Rock. Transitional Employment Assistance (TEA)

TEA is a time-limited assistance program to help needy families with children become more responsible for their own support and less dependent on public assistance.  In addition to monthly cash assistance, employment-related services are provided to parents, including job-readiness activities, transportation assistance, childcare assistance, and other supportive services so that the parent can engage in work or education and training activities.
