Antique Motorcycle License Plate
Eligibility: For any motorcycle which is twenty five (25) years old or older, which is essentially unaltered from the original manufacturers specifications and which is being collected, preserved, restored, or maintained by a hobbyist as a leisure pursuit.

Antique Vehicle License Plate - Current
Eligibility: For historical or special interest vehicles or any vehicle that is twenty five (25) years old or older, which is essentially unaltered from the original manufacturers specifications.

Arkansas State University License Plate 1st Design
Eligibility: Any motor vehicle owner may apply for the collegiate license plate.

Arkansas Tech University License Plate
Eligibility: Any motor vehicle owner may apply for the collegiate license plate.

Armed Forces Reserve License Plate
Eligibility: Must be Arkansas resident, active in the Reserve of the United States Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force or Coast Guard.

Armed Forces Retired License Plate
Eligibility: Must be Arkansas resident who is a retired member of the United States Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, or National Guard and Reserves.

Border City Taxi Cab License Plate
Eligibility: Only issued for "For Hire Taxi Cabs" operating in adjoining cities separated by state lines, such as Texarkana.

Boy Scout, Girl Scout, and Orphanages License Plate
Eligibility: Any Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Orphanages, or Boy or Girl Clubs which are a member of or affiliated with Boys or Girls Clubs of America.

Boy Scouts of America License Plate
Eligibility: Any motor vehicle owner may apply for the Boy Scouts of America license plate.

Cattlemen's Foundation License Plate
Eligibility: Any motor vehicle owner may apply for the Cattlemen's Foundation license plate.

Choose Life License Plate
Eligibility: Any motor vehicle owner may apply for the Choose Life license plate.

Church Bus License Plate
Eligibility: Any church vehicle capable of carrying ten (10) or more passengers.

Civil Air Patrol License Plate
Eligibility: Issued to Arkansas residents who are members of the Civil Air Patrol.

Committed To Education License Plate - Design 1
Eligibility: Any motor vehicle owner may apply for the committed to education plate.

Congressional Medal of Honor License Plate
Eligibility: Issued to Congressional Medal of Honor Recipients. The surviving spouse of a deceased recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor is entitled to the plate.

Disabled Veteran License Plate
Eligibility: Disabled veterans may qualify for these plates under Act 36 of 1969 as certified by the Veterans Administration (VA). An eligible veteran may receive one (1) additional plate at the fee of $3.75. One (1) plate issued to the eligible veteran may be reissued to his or her surviving spouse at the regular registration fee for the vehicle.

Disabled Veteran License Plate - Free
Eligibility: Disabled veterans may qualify for these plates under Act 7 of 1949, or Act 30 of 1979 as certified by the Veterans Administration (VA). An eligible veteran may receive one (1) additional plate at the fee of $3.75. One (1) plate issued to the eligible veteran may be reissued to his or her surviving spouse at the regular registration fee for the vehicle.

Distinguished Flying Cross Plate
Eligibility: Issued to an Arkansas resident who has been awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross Medal while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces, or a resident who is the surviving spouse of a Distinguished Flying Cross Medal recipient.

Eligibility: Any motor vehicle owner may apply for the Ducks Unlimited license plate.

Ducks Unlimited License Plate - Design 3
Eligibility: Any motor vehicle owner may apply for the Ducks Unlimited license plate.

Ducks Unlimited License Plate – Design 1 – Valid No Longer Issued
Eligibility: Any motor vehicle owner may apply for the Ducks Unlimited license plate.

Emergency Medical Services License Plate
Eligibility: Issuance is restricted to passenger cars, all ½ ton and ¾ ton trucks, and 1 to trucks used for private transportation only. One (1) ton trucks used for commercial purposes must be registered with a commercial license by gross loaded weight.

Ex-Prisoner Of War License Plate
Eligibility: Issued to any Arkansas resident who was a prisoner of war while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces or surviving spouse.

Farm To Market Bus License Plate
Eligibility: Issued for buses domiciled in Arkansas operating under authority of the Arkansas Transportation Commission as a common carrier for hire which does not extend beyond fifty (50) miles in any direction.

Fire Fighter License Plate (Active)
Eligibility: Issued to vehicles owned by certified fire fighters.

Fire Fighter License Plate (Memorial)
Eligibility: Any motor vehicle owner may apply for a Fire Fighter's Memorial license plate.

Fire Fighter License Plate (Retired)
Eligibility: Issued to vehicles owned by certified retired fire fighters.

Gold Star Family License Plate
Eligibility: The applicant must be the spouse or parent of a member of the armed forces of the United States, killed in a conflict recognized by the United States Department of Defense, and who has received a Gold Star Lapel Button issed by the United States Department of Defense.

Golf Association License Plate
Eligibility: Issuance is restricted to passenger cars, all ½ ton and ¾ ton trucks, and 1 ton trucks used for private transportation only. One (1) ton trucks used for commercial purposes must be registered with a commercial license by gross loaded weight.

Handicapped License Plate
Eligibility: Issued to any Arkansas resident with a disability as determined by a licensed physician.

Handicapped Motorcycle License Plate
Eligibility: Issued to any Arkansas resident with a disability as determined by a licensed physician.

Handicapped Placard
Eligibility: Permanent certificate (placard) for the permanently disabled, which expires four (4) years from the last day of the month in which it is issued. A re-certification is not required to issue a new permanent certificate for the purposes of renewal.

Temporary certificate (placard) which expires three (3) months from the last day of the month in which it is issued. A person certified as temporarily disabled may receive no more than two (2) temporary placards, which must have the same expiration date. Under no circumstances can a person certified with a temporary disability receive a permanent placard.

Harding University License Plate
Eligibility: Any motor vehicle owner may apply for the collegiate license plate.

Hearse License Plate
Eligibility: Issued for hearses and funeral cars.

Henderson State University License Plate
Eligibility: Any motor vehicle owner may apply for the collegiate license plate.

Hendrix College License Plate
Eligibility: Any motor vehicle owner may apply for the collegiate license plate.

In God We Trust License Plate
Eligibility: Issuance is restricted to passenger cars, all 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton trucks, and 1 ton trucks used for private transportation only. One (1) ton trucks used for commercial purposes must be registered with a commercial license by gross loaded weight.

Justice of the Peace License Plate
Eligibility: Issued for vehicles owned by elected members of a county quorum court. Limited to one (1) plate per applicant.

Korean Veteran License Plate
Eligibility: Issued to any Arkansas resident who is a veteran of the Korean War.

Lyon College License Plate
Eligibility: Any motor vehicle owner may apply for the collegiate license plate.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission License Plate
Eligibility: Issuance is restricted to passenger cars, all 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton trucks, and 1 ton trucks used for private transportation only. One (1) ton trucks used for commercial purposes must be registered with a commercial license by gross loaded weight.

Merchant Marine Retired License Plate
Eligibility: Issued to any Arkansas resident who is a retired veteran of the United States Merchant Marine and served during the period of October 1, 1940 through December 31, 1945.

National Guard License Plate

North Little Rock Friends of Animals, Inc. License Plate
Eligibility: Issuance is restricted to passenger cars, all 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton trucks, and 1 ton trucks used for private transportation only. One (1) ton trucks used for commercial purposes must be registered with a commercial license by gross loaded weight.

Not For Hire Bus License Plate
Eligibility: Issued for buses carrying passengers without collecting fees.

Operation Enduring Freedom Veteran License Plate
Eligibility: Issued to any Arkansas resident who is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Operation Iraqi Freedom Veteran License Plate
Eligibility: Issued to any Arkansas resident who is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Organ Donar Awareness License Plate

Ouachita Baptist University License Plate

Pearl Harbor Survivor License Plate
Eligibility: Issued to Arkansas residents who were a member of the US Armed Forces on December 7, 1941, during the hours of 7:55 am to 9:45 am Hawaii time at Pearl Harbor, the Island of Oahu, or offshore at a distance not to exceed three (3) miles.

Persian Gulf War Veteran License Plate
Eligibility: Issued to any Arkansas resident who is a veteran of the Persian Gulf War.

Purple Heart - Combat Wounded License Plate
Eligibility: Issued to an Arkansas resident who has been awarded the Purple Heart Medal while serving in the U.S. Armed forces, or a resident who is the unmarried surviving spouse of a Purple Heart recipient.

Purple Heart Motorcycle License Plate
Eligibility: Issued to an Arkansas resident who has been awarded the purple Heart medal while serving in the U.S. Armed forces, or a resident who is the unmarried surviving spouse of a Purple Heart recipient.

Realtor License Plate
Eligibility: Issuance is restricted to passenger cars, all ½ ton and ¾ ton trucks, and 1 ton trucks used for private transportation only. One (1) ton trucks used for commercial purposes must be registered with a commercial license by gross loaded weight.

School Vehicle License Plate
Eligibility: Issued to vehicles owned by public schools and vehicles loaned to public schools by new car dealers.

Search and Rescue License Plate
Eligibility: Issued for a vehicle owned by a member of a search and rescue team. Limited to one (1) plate per applicant.

Southern Arkansas University License Plate
Eligibility: Any motor vehicle owner may apply for the collegiate license plate.

Street Rod or Custom Vehicle License Plate
Eligibility: Issued to owners of automobiles or trucks which meet the following requirements:

Custom Vehicle - A motor vehicle that is at least twenty-five (25) years old and of a model year after 1948, or was manufactured to resemble such vehicle; has been altered from the manufacturer's original design, or has a body construction from non-original materials.

Street Rod - A motor vehicle that is a 1948 or older vehicle or was manufactured to resemble a vehicle manufactured before 1949, and has been altered from the manufactuer's original design, or has a body constructed from non-original materials.

If the Custom Vehicle or Street Rod is a replica or reproduction of an original production vehicle "Replica" will be printed in the remarks section of the Cerificate of Title.

Eligibility: Issuance is restricted to passenger cars, all 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton trucks, and 1 ton trucks used for private transportation only. One (1) ton trucks used for commercial purposes must be registered with a commercial license by gross loaded weight.
