New CPA Exam Requirements
Effective July 18, 2013, Arkansas CPA exam candidates are not required to have 150 hours of college credits to sit for the CPA exam. Each candidate will need to have a bachelor's degree, 30 hours of upper level accounting courses, and 30 hours of business courses. Candidates will need to complete 150 hours, however, to become licensed as a CPA. After passing the last section of the exam the applicant will have 3 years to complete the 150 hour requirement and become licensed. Please contact us if you have any questions.
