AR (August 17, 2007) – The Arkansas Development Finance Authority (ADFA),
Arkansas’s state housing finance agency, on August 16, approved the allocation
of $415,667 in HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds for the Central
AR Planning & Development District, Inc.
The funds will be used for the rehabilitation or reconstruction of eight homes in Prairie County. Central Arkansas Planning & Development District, Inc. is one of eight planning development districts throughout Arkansas that help provide assistance for a wide variety of activities including affordable housing development. The CAPDD serves Lonoke, Prairie, Monroe, Faulkner, Pulaski and Saline Counties.
The HOME Program makes funds available for the development of affordable housing for low and moderate-income individuals and families, and encourages partnerships among state agencies, local governments, not-for-profit, and for-profit organizations.
