It is our goal to provide an annual May snapshot for comparative purposes each year. For FY2010, based on 13,727 heads of households, the statistics are as follows:

Next year enhancement: Hope to add average income and a similar demographic / tenant characteristic snapshot for the HOME Program. (2) AMERICAN RECOVERY & REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) PROGRAMS a. Housing i. Tax Credit Assistance Program (TCAP) funds have been used in conjunction with HOME Investment Partnership Funds and the Low Income Housing Tax Credits Program. The TCAP funds were designed to assist troubled 2007, 2008 and 2009 projects struggling to find a tax credit investor. ii. Exchange / Section 1602 Program has been utilized by ADFA to swap certain previous and current year LIHTC for cash to be infused into projects as equity. iii. TCAP and Exchange Programs funded 1,750 LIHTC units in FY2010 for a total of $113,758,220. TCAP funds represented 17.3% and Exchange 82.7% of total funds. iv. Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) Funds is a competitive grant program authorized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). ADFA funds are awarded by the Arkansas Economic Development Commission. Funds can be utilized for acquisition or rehabilitation loans or demolition of abandoned and blighted properties. In FY2010, ADFA funded 237 units with NSP funds for a total of $17.7 million. b. Development Finance i. Safe Drinking Water Revolving Loan Fund – ADFA acts as Agent, Financial Advisor, Purchaser and Seller of Bonds on behalf of the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission. In FY2010, 7 of the 12 bond issues were funded with ARRA funds totaling $24,190,000. This represents 69.3% of the total Safe Drinking water Revolving Loan Funds allocated.
