The Board wishes to extend their heartiest congratulations to Dr. Susan Skinner Holt as one of the two recipients of the 2005 ASPPB Fellow Awards.  Dr. Holt was presented with this most prestigious award on Oct. 21, 2005, at the ASPPB Annual Meeting in Philadelphia, PA.  Dr. Holt served on the Arkansas Psychology Board from 1994 through 1998, as well as on several ASPPB committees, such as the Mobility Committee, the Committee on Examination Research and Policy, and the Certification Appeals Committee.  While serving on the Arkansas Psychology Board, she was the Board Member we turned to when an applicant’s coursework was questionable; or when an applicant’s employment was contingent on a rapid review, she would volunteer to complete the review on her own time.  Dr. Holt has been an invaluable member of the Arkansas Psychology Board as well as an ASPPB Individual Member since her Arkansas Psychology Board appointment.

Accompanying Dr. Holt to the Philadelphia meeting was her husband, Dr. Steve Holt, and their daughter, Anna. 

Susan is the second Arkansas Psychology Board Member to receive the ASPPB Fellow Award.  Ten years ago in October of 1995 in Philadelphia, PA, past Board Member, Dr. Tom Jackson, was also awarded the ASPPB Fellow Award.

The Board is very proud to have nominated Dr. Susan Holt for this award and continues to hold Dr. Holt in the very highest of regard for her years of service to the Board and the public.
