AAMFT Code of Ethics, dated July 1, 2001 is adopted,
effective September 1, 2001. The link below is to
the new revised Ethical Code of AAMFT. You are responsible
for knowing the contents, the changes and for following
them in your practice. If you hold both the LPC and
the LMFT licenses or both the LAC and LAMFT licenses,
you are responsible for following the ACA Code and
Standards, as well as, the AAMFT Code. You are responsible
for following the more stringent of the two codes
when there are statements in both that address the
